Volunteers
The Gallery has a diverse and enthusiastic team of volunteers that assist with the day to day operations of the Gallery. They help with public programs and education workshops, exhibition installation and customer service. Without this help we would not be able to present the wonderful program that we currently do.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please download the attached application form and return it to the Gallery either in person or by mail to Locked Bag 8821 Wollongong.
Volunteer Gallery Guides
Our education staff comprise of volunteer tour guides from the local community. The purpose of the guides is to provide further information to the public about the permanent art collection and the travelling art exhibitions at the Gallery.
The Gallery Guides have graduated at the Wollongong City Gallery after completing an intensive training course in art history and general art education. The members have varied backgrounds in art either through formal qualifications, overseas travel, small business, practice in the studio or appreciation of the arts.
