An art prize featuring small format contemporary art works.  This prize is open to all artists living within the postcode boundaries of 2508 in the north, 2534 in the south and 2576 in the west.

First Prize $5,000
Beach Art People's Choice Prize $500 ($250 art materials & $250 cash)

Format:
Two-dimensional works must be 30.5 x 40.6cm (12" x 16" including frame)
Three-dimensional works must be 30.5 X 40.6cm x 30.5cm (h) (12" x 16" x 12"(h) including any stand)

All entries will receive a one year Friend's membership (valued at $35).

Entry forms and fee/s must be submit by 5pm Friday 3 February 2012.

The Friends were overwhelmed with the response for the prize with over 230 entries received.  All works were hung and a panel of 3 judges had the task of selecting a winner.
