David Van Nunen and Neil Taylor will discuss the historic nature of this exhibition and expound upon the variety of watercolour techniques employed by the artists of the three internationally renowned watercolour societies exhibiting together here for the first time - the Australia Watercolour Institute, the Royal Watercolour Society, London, and the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour.

David van Nunen, President of the Australian Watercolour Institute, is an exponent of the plein air painting tradition. He has numerous awards to his credit and his work is represented in public and private collections in Australia and abroad.

Neil Taylor, AWI committee member, is a romantic-realist painter and veteran of over 40 International and Australian solo exhibitions.
