Y-culture is an exciting series of programs developed by the Wollongong City Gallery.

Working closely with individuals, youth organisations and local high schools, Y-culture provides opportunities for young people (12-25yrs) to become more involved in the WCG, with artists and their practices and the art world at large. With key programs such as Just Imagine and Y-curate, the WCG Y-culture initative emphasises skills development across a range of disciplines. Y-culture includes forums, mentor programs, exhibitions, and visual arts / music / performance / creative writing hybrid projects.

Wollongong City Gallery gratefully acknowledges the generous support of Ian Dickson in the realisation of the Y-culture initiative.
